From the Fens to the Sea : Photographs by TREV PARKER of Deeping-St-James
'These pics are simply way-points of the journey out of the 'rurality' of my village, to the Sea that I love so much'
The Fens are a coastal plain of eastern England called the Wash, comprising of highly fertile land that stretches 1,500 square miles across parts of Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire and Norfolk. They lie largely below sea level and were reclaimed from massive marshes, which were drained centuries ago through a system of dykes, drains and pump houses. It is a primarily flat landscape that enhances the pure magic of sky and its transitory clouds
Adobe LightRoom Masterclass Workshop:
Trev is an accomplished photo-editor with Adobe LightRoom and will be giving a masterclass at LEM on Saturday 9th March. It FREE but there are only a few places allocated, so you’ll;ll have to be quick to join us.

It will last from 10am till 4pm and you can either take pictures on the day, led by Nigel and Trev in the morning or bring some of your own favourites to work on - bring your laptops too. Snacks included but bring a packed lunch.
